Who doesn’t love a cabled slouchy beanie? Father Cables is a hot pattern on Ravelry this week, no doubt due to its stunning cable pattern and the fact that it’s been generously published as a free pattern by YOTH Yarns. The pattern calls for a softly plied, worsted weight Rambouillet wool yarn, which comes from a breed of sheep known for its soft, fine fiber, much like its close relative the Merino sheep.
